DETAIL PROGRAM ITINERARY

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
Arrival at Kathmandu airport and meet with our tour officer and transfer to hotel. Evening briefing the tour.

Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing tour
Morning after breakfast, you will proceed from hotel for sightseeing activities in Kathmandu valley: You will visit Pashupatinath Temple (the holiest Hindu Temple), Bouddhanath Stupa (the biggest Buddhist Stupa), Budhanilkantha (the lord Vishnu big statue) and Kathmandu Durbar Square (historical royal palace). Overnight stay at Hotel
 
Day 03: Kathmandu Sightseeing tour
After breakfast, we will continue sightseeing tour: You will visit The Monkey Temple (the enlightened Buddha Stupa), Patan Durbar Square (historical royal palace) and Bhaktapur Durbar Square (ancient most popular historical royal palace among three). Overnight stay at Hotel
 
Day 04: Kathmandu to Paro (by flight – 1 ¼ hours)
Transfer to Kathmandu airport for flight to Paro to visit Bhutan. Arrive at Paro airport and transfer to hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay at Hotel
 
Day 05: Paro Sightseeing
Morning visit the ruined fortress of Drukgyel Dzong which still attracts visitors due to its strategic location. Proceed through the beautiful valley to the watch tower or locally known as Ta-Dzong. It was housed into the National museum in the 1960s by the third King, Jigme Dorji Wangchuck. The seven floors museum highlights various aspects of Bhutanese culture and history dating back to the 7th century. Take a short walk downhill to the Rinpung Dzong which serves as the administrative center and school for monks. Walk further down crossing the traditional bridge into Paro Town. Stroll around the market and return to hotel. Overnight stay at  Hotel
 
Day 06: Paro to Thimpu ( 65 km, 2 hours )
Breakfast at hotel then leave for Thimpu. On arrival check in at the hotel. Then visit Memorial Chorten, Changgangkha Temple. Then Visit Tashicho Dzong, Zoo, Zilukha Nunnary, The National Library, The school of Arts and Crafts or the Painting School. Overnight stay at Hotel
 
Day 07: Thimpu - Punakha - Thimpu (160 km, 8 hours )
Day excursion to Punakha, the road winds up from Simtokha Dzong into pine forest and through villages for 20 Km. Continue drive to Punakha valley. Visit Punakha Dzong which dominates the valley floor. Drive back to Thimpu. Overnight stay at Hotel
 
Day 08: Thimpu - Phuntsholing (180 km, 6 hours )
Morning after breakfast leaving to Phuntsholing. En-route visit Chukkha Hydel project. Arrival at Phuntsholing and check in at hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel
 
Day 09: Phuntsholing - Gangtok ( 170 km, 7 hours )
Morning drive from Phuntsholing (Indian - Bhutan Border) to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim state in India. On arrival check in at hotel. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Gangtok visiting Directorate of Handicrafts and Handlooms or Government Institute of Cottage, Enchey Monastery is a small hermitage built by lama Druptob Karpo. Overnight stay at Hotel
 
Day 10 : Gangtok Sightseeing.
Morning visit Do-drul Chorten (Stupa) - Situated on a hillock built by late Trulshik Rimpoche in 1946, Hanuman Tok- an altitude of 7200 ft., temple of God Hanuman, Research Institute of Tibetology, Rumtek Monastery and Ganesh Tok temple of God Ganesha. Also visit Tashi View point.

Day 11 : Gangtok - Kalimpong ( 70 km, 2 hours )
Morning leave for Kalimpong and after arrival check in at the hotel. Kalimpong is an ideal holiday resort because of its balmy climate throughout the year. It is also well known for its colorful people inheriting a lifestyle that has blending of social and cultural influences of Tibet, Sikkim, Nepal and Bhutan. Drive to old Bhutanese ruins and go shopping for interesting souvenirs. Overnight stay at Hotel
 
Day 12 : Kalimpong – Darjeeling( 80 km, 3 hours )
Morning drive to Darjeeling. On arrival check in at the hotel. Darjeeling is popularly known as the "Queen of the Hills" and produces the famous Darjeeling Tea, one of the world's finest teas. It is also home to the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, a World Heritage Site.

Day 13 : Darjeeling Sightseeing.
Early in the morning excursion to Tiger Hill by jeep to have a spectacular view of sunrise on Himalayas. Afternoon city tour of Darjeeling visiting mountaineering institute, Lebong race course and tea gardens

Day 14 : Darjeeling – Ilam ( 95 km, 3 hours )
Morning after breakfast drive to Pashupatinagar (Nepal – India border) then cross the border. (Our Nepali guide will be there and he will assist you to take your further Nepal program). And drive to Ilam (Phikal) and it takes approx 3 hours. Afternoon visit around Kanyam tea garden. On the way you can see other beautiful garden and local houses.Overnight stay at local guesthouse
 
Day 15: Ilam to Chitwan (approx 475 km, 7 hours)
Moring after breakfast drive to Chitwan. Evening reach in Chitwan (Sauraha) check in at the hotel and take some rest and see the sunset view from bank of Rapti river then evening participate in Tharu Culture program (stick dance). Overnight stay at Hotel
 
Day 16: Chitwan to Pokhara(156 km, 4 hours)
Early breakfast and make village tour to nearby ethnic Tharu village where you can learn about their living lifestyle and culture and arrange Jungle safari by Elephant ride to take opportunity to explore more wild animals and birds. Then afternoon we leave to Pokhara. On arrival in Pokhara, check into hotel and after short refresh we can stroll around the Lake side area by yourself. Overnight stay at Hotel
 
Day 17: Pokhara Sightseeing tour
Today, early morning transfer to Sarangkot for sunrise views and wonderful Himalayan ranges of Annapurna region. Back to Hotel and take breakfast. Then sightseeing tour in Pokhara: visit Bindabasini Temple, Seit River Gorge, David’s Fall, Gupteswor Mahadev Cave and Barahi Temple with boat ride on Few Lake. Overnight stay at Hotel
 
Day 18: Pokhara to Kathmandu
Morning after breakfast drive back to Kathmandu. Afternoon reach in Kathmandu and check in  hotel and rest of the day is free. Overnight stay at Hotel
 
Day 19: Rest day in Kathmandu
